Quick Visit to the Walled City

Tuesday, January 26, 2016
January isn't  my month. Aside from the fact that I'm swamped with work at the office, I'm also in an on-and-off relationship with my sickbed. I'm pretty sure I was already in the pink last weekend. I just wanted to go out 'cos I couldn't stand lying around anymore.

To get out of my misery, boyfriend and I went to the mall and had a detour to our favorite place in Manila, the so-called Walled City, Intramuros. :)

Happy that I got off my sickbed already. :)

This buggy entering Fort Santiago caught my attention.
Btw, entrance fee for adults is Php 75.00.

It was a serene afternoon for a walk.

A "Guardia Civil" will welcome you at the reconstructed gate of Fort Santiago.

I'm officially in love with this buggy.

Not a fan of sauntering? Well, you can try these Bambikes (Bamboo Bikes) which were handmade by Gawad Kalinga villagers. :)

Old Manila preserved.

The Aduana Building used to house various government offices.

There are lots of "graffitis", or should I say "street art," to gaze at within the walls of Intramuros.

I missed the outside world, really. Haha.

So there goes our weekend. They say that walking has a myriad of health benefits so I'm looking forward to a healthier me.  Hihi.
