Paradise on Earth - this best describes El Nido, Palawan which is included in Condé Nast Traveler's list of "20 Most Beautiful Beaches in the World." This island had been in my bucket list for the longest time so I was really giddy to tick it off my list with my friends from Canada.
I usually prefer a DIY trip but we got Shadow Travel & Tours' El Nido package for Php 10,000.00 each since I just wanna chill and savor the beauty of this island. It already included our airfare (Air Asia Zest), 3-night accommodation at Dayunan Tourist Inn, Island Hopping Tour A (Small Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, Simizu Island, and Seven Commando), and Island Hopping Tour B (Snake Island, Pinagbuyatan Island, Cudugnon Cave, and Entalula Island). We also had free daily breakfast and lunch in our island hopping tours.
I must say El Nido took my breath away. Scroll below and see for yourself. :)
Postcard-worthy paradise
This sight greeted us on our way to Dayunan Tourist Inn.

Getting ready to swim
Inside Cudugnon Cave

The island hopping tour was tedious so we had to fill our tummies. Yum!
We got off our boat and explored the Big Lagoon with a kayak.
Lunch time! Yeah, the food is prepared on board! :)
Yes. They sell beverages from kayaks. Talk about ingenuity. ;)

We weren't able to explore Mangrove Paradise Ecopark but there's always a next time, right? :)
Can I be in this paradise forever?

We roamed the streets of El Nido and found a lot of restaurants and souvenir shops like this one.
More souvenirs to choose from
We got tired from roaming so we had gelato.
We also visited Puerto Princesa City since we had a lot of free time before our flight back to Manila.
I'm one happy kid. :)
If I had the moolah, I'd have lingered a little longer. El Nido had me captivated and there's still a lot to see. This paradise is definitely worth coming back to. :)
